Wellesley College Alumnae Magazine

Client work: design and produce the alumnae magazine, website design and online publishing
Objective/Context: The quarterly magazine serves a global alumni community of 35,000+ and needed a cohesive visual identity that engaged readers across print and, for the first time, a fully launched digital platform.
Role & Work: I served as design lead and project manager for both print and digital issues, overseeing issue design, content curation, art direction for photographers and illustrators, budgets, and team management, and later took on the role of Art Director. On the magazine’s website, I was the Senior Designer, defining information architecture, wireframes, responsive systems, and CMS implementation in collaboration with an external developer, while supporting ongoing digital production and content migration. I played a central role in shaping the magazine’s visual system and evolution over time, including a recent redesign of the print publication aligned with Pentagram’s admissions rebranding.
Result/Impact: These efforts created a consistent, engaging experience for the alumni community across print and digital channels, strengthened the magazine’s visual identity, and ensured alignment with broader institutional branding initiatives.
