UMass Boston Signage Program
Studio: Hecht/Horton Partners
Client work: Signage and wayfinding development
Designed the signage and wayfinding system for the Integrated Sciences Complex at UMass Boston, a signature campus building uniting multiple research departments in an interdisciplinary environment. The system uses bright, matte silver materials and the DIN typeface, reflecting the building’s precise, technical, and light-filled character.
Collaborated with Whitney Veigas, a firm specializing in signage, wayfinding, and experiential graphics. Developed concepts, typographic systems, production files, and coordinated with the architecture and creative teams. The program guides users clearly through labs, collaborative spaces, and the central atrium, creating a cohesive and legible experience throughout the building.
